OMFG! Finally my personal favorite modern hypercar has landed in Brunei! This is the Porsche 918 Spyder, not just any 918 model but the one fitted with Weissach Package option! I believe this is the one and only Porsche 918 Spyder in Brunei at the moment. This car was air flown in to the country just a few days ago.
This car cost USD$929,000 compared to the normal version (USD$845,000) in the U.S.A. The difference between the normal version and this car is its fitted with Weissach Package that consist of many carbon fibre components. Hence the reduced weight fo 40kg compared to regular 918. It also comes with a fixed carbon spoiler and also a set of magnesium light weight wheels that cost (USD$30,000). The color for this particular car is called the ACID GREEN and I read it is kinda a rare color among all the 918 units produced by Porsche.
This car is a direct competitor to the McLaren P1 and Ferrari LaFerrari. This car is also the only car within the three that break the 6mins barrier of lapping the infamous Nurburgring. It ran the track in less than 6:57:min! Very impressive figure. It has a 4.6litre V8 engine coupled with 2 electric motor fitted to the front wheels and rear wheels. Combined power output is 887hp and goes to 0-100km/hr in 2.7sec. This is a time bending machine. Hopefully I will see this on road very soon!
